Status

The contract has as its object the renovation buildings and installations (adaptation and change), the two buildings of the University of Pisa located in the building complex of the three-year course at the Faculty of Engineering (Department of Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear and Production ). The proceedings for an amount estimated at 2,913,000, € were aimed at an improvement of the complex for use as laboratories and offices in the service of the Departments of Energy, Mechanical, Nuclear and Production.

The work done

The work consisted of a verification system to the requirements of the building regulations, but has been prepared in order to allow the client to perform a series of simulations, aimed at the design of energy saving, to test the effects, in terms of consumption primary energy for further action to raise the energy class of the system.

The results

The work will enable the client, through the model calculations prepared, to review and plan further interventions energy restructuring, aimed at the improvement of the performance EP, regardless of the minimum standards of the law to date occurred.
